Dear Peter,
I have decided to break up the services into 2 lots to keep everything simple and so we can give traders a quality alternative to doing their paperwork.
As a brief outline I have broken the service up into the following:
- Paperwork service – Traders have the choice of sending copies of source documents (include buy and sell contracts for shares, etc.) or listed transaction printouts from their CFD providers, Broker, etc. and we input them in monthly and store them on our system and keep the record of each trader separate, and can access their history. This Services is getting their paperwork in order for the accountants to work on the taxation outcomes. In April – May of each year, we will opt the client via email or phone call as we are able to offer some sort of tax planning services for them as we will have on our system forecast profitability for their yearly trading, and can apply strategies for them to reduce their taxation expenses.
- Traders Taxation Service – This service incorporates the work that has been done in the first paperwork service, and complements it. It will retrieve the information that we will have already stored for the paperwork/bookkeeping side of the trading, and we will prepare their tax returns on a very timely fashion. We will have everything prepared and ready and will request any additional information that is required (such as wages, interest income, claimable expenses, etc.)
- Structures for Traders - This service is based on the fact that we are able to advise traders about risk protection and taxation minimization. We can advise the on the structures to use and set them up for them to ensure we meet their requirements.
I have a more detail information package I am finalizing for you and will send this to you shortly.
Your thoughts on how these services sound? Do you believe this is the type of service traders will be looking for? Reducing their workload on their trades, and it is in also in the format for the accountant. If the trader decides to not use our taxation services and prefer to use their own, that is fine, we will prepare the information in an appropriate way for them to give it to their accountant (which should not take the accountants any more than 10 minutes – as we will be putting it into a report format).
