Trading Analyst: Peter Mathers

In 1982 Peter Mathers started his professional trading career with Japanese futures company Hoei & Shoin, who mentored and taught him Japanese analysis techniques. Practical experience of the Elliott Wave Theory followed whilst with Australian company Tradewinds Pty Ltd, specialists in futures trading both in Australia and the USA. Looking to develop further experience, Peter moved to London and traded commodities, derivatives and securities with Corporate Services International. Since returning to Australia, Peter has continued to refine his skills and has been constantly upgrading his knowledge of all aspects of the trading landscape, from current and well established theories, to trading software and online brokering platforms.

As a trader himself, Peter specialises in trading shares, futures and CFDs. He also consults for leading CFD providers as an educator and trainer. Peter is the author of “Trading CFDs in Today’s Markets” and also writes for various trading related publications.

As an educator and a trading coach, Peter teaches TradingLevels®, a position trading strategy, formulated and refined through his years of experience in the markets. A strategy that is composed of various techniques that are designed to create profits, safely, from trends in the markets.
In the last 12 months Peter has won a national competition by a wholesale Melbourne company against 20 other analysts.
